Bree George (née Sposato) is an award-winning editor and writer with deep expertise in luxury travel, culture and design, and lifestyle storytelling. She has led major national publications, edited books for Travel + Leisure, and shaped content for millions of readers worldwide.
As Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director, Bree led a team of 10 storytellers in publishing Endless Vacation magazine—America’s largest closed circulation travel magazine, with a total readership of 4.3 million. Under her direction, the magazine published original reporting and photography from award-winning writers and photographers around the globe, won numerous industry awards (notably, Best Publication), and expanded across multiple platforms.
Bree is a former editor at Travel + Leisure magazine, where she covered culture and design, reported annual brand platforms, such as T+L’s Top Villa Rentals and Adventure Guides, and co-edited several Travel + Leisure-branded books, including Unexpected France and Italy and 100 Greatest Trips.
Her writing has appeared in Businessweek, Forbes, Entrepreneur, Art News, Money, and other outlets. She began her career at New York magazine, reporting the publication’s weekly Arts Listings and annual Wedding Guide.
Bree holds a degree in International Relations from Tufts University and is a certified Pilates instructor. She serves on the board of the Wilton Woman’s Club and volunteers at her local library and historical society. She has also been a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children.
